Jacqueline Johnston Overstreet (AKA J.J.) grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated with her B.A. in Historic Preservation & Community Planning minoring in Studio Art from the College of Charleston. Most recently she completed her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Goddard College, and is working towards her license.
Her professional focus at Artistree is coordinating the music, theatre, gallery, and select community events. Additionally, she enjoys teaching and facilitating the following courses: Artful Meditation, The Artist's Way, Walking in this World, Finding Water and Visual Journaling. She is also currently heading up the Artistree Daily Artists, in which local artists commit to making art a daily practice for an entire year(the group is now on year 2!).
